Catherine Hancock
Catherine has developed digital strategies across a range of arts organizations in order to raise visibility and strengthen patron relations through communications, marketing, and fundraising campaigns.
Catherine provides counsel on digital best practices for R+A clients, cultivating customized digital marketing, establishing social methodology, and implementing integrated campaigns. A lifelong advocate of the arts, she is passionate about helping cultural institutions express themselves creatively in digital spaces, striving to craft stories that deepen the impact of the arts. Before joining R+A, she worked as an independent consultant where she collaborated with leading arts organizations on marketing efforts, including American Modern Opera Company and Beth Morrison Projects. She was also responsible for social media content creation and supervision of The Metropolitan Opera’s social media platforms.
Catherine serves as a task force member of the NYC Arts Social Group, a network of social media and marketing managers from cultural institutions across New York City, leading relevant conversations around crisis management and outbound messaging, and supporting initiatives that encourage collaboration and mentorship within the arts marketing community.
